Remotes Remade saved the day for our restaurant! Someone accidentally threw away the remote for our Daikin HVAC blower, which can only be operated by remote control. When we contacted our HVAC company, they told us a replacement remote would cost nearly $500!
By the grace of G-d, I found Remotes Remade. I searched for our model number, and there it was. But what really impressed me was their process. They require you to send a photo of the actual model number from your unit before they ship anything. These people are not messing around—they want to make absolutely sure you get the correct remote, no ifs, ands, or buts.
To make things even better, they shipped it via 2-day delivery, and it actually arrived in two days. We took it straight to the restaurant, and it worked right out of the box!! (But I did appreciate the enclosed directions in case it didn't.) With the heat and humidity we've been having, it truly saved the day.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Remotes Remade! Outstanding service, fast shipping, and a company that genuinely cares about getting it right. Highly recommended! A++++
I ordered a remote and it didn't work for my ac. I emailed these guys and they had me try different codes to get it to work. After a few unsuccessful tries they mailed me another remote. This one worked. I appreciate them helping me until we got it right, instead of writing me off after they got my money. If you need a replacement I would definitely try them out. If I need another remote in the future, this is the first place I'm going.
Works!! No installation step required!!! When I first saw this I thought - this can't possibly work- and I thought I would have to somehow reach some button on the skylight to connect the new remote- we have been unable to open our lovely Velux skylight since we moved to this house 1.5 years ago. It is an older model but doesn't leak- The original remote fell and broke and would not work even with new batteries. Felix didn't offer a replacement. I went back and viewed the instructional video today for this product and it worked right away!!! The skylight opened and closed - slowly but surely - and the hidden shade came down and went up - now we can release heat at the top of our home easily for the first time, and have shade on the sunniest of California days. Thank you for this product!!!!
I was truly desperate to replace the remote from my two Velux skylights in my cathedral ceilinged three-season-room that have been here since 2008 and still function perfectly except that the remote simply died. I needed a new remote to make them work. I ordered the one on this site that was supposed to work for my skylights — and it didn't. They sent me very detailed instructions but it still didn't work. A few weeks later I received an email saying they found AN ERROR ON THEIR END with the programming of that batch of remotes and were shipping me the correctly programmed version — and it works perfectly!!! I am so grateful for their courtesy and tireless effort to admit they had a problem and so solve the problem! It took a while but I am so very grateful!
It instantly worked. I didn't need to program it or anything. All I needed was some batteries. I think the seller should include a pair of battery's and increase the price slightly. But other than that it's 100% the original. Same look and feel. I don't feel like I have a cheap version of the remote or anything. Definitely buying again if needed.
It worked perfectly straight out of the box. Bought a house that came with a mini split but the remote didn't work. Ordered this and it worked like a champ.
We lost our original remote thanks to the dog, but you would never know this a replacement. Works fabulously
Just worked. No issues.
I chose a refund and they promptly collected the remote and refunded me so 2 stars!
