I ordered a remote and it didn't work for my ac. I emailed these guys and they had me try different codes to get it to work. After a few unsuccessful tries they mailed me another remote. This one worked. I appreciate them helping me until we got it right, instead of writing me off after they got my money. If you need a replacement I would definitely try them out. If I need another remote in the future, this is the first place I'm going.
Works!! No installation step required!!! When I first saw this I thought - this can't possibly work- and I thought I would have to somehow reach some button on the skylight to connect the new remote- we have been unable to open our lovely Velux skylight since we moved to this house 1.5 years ago. It is an older model but doesn't leak- The original remote fell and broke and would not work even with new batteries. Felix didn't offer a replacement. I went back and viewed the instructional video today for this product and it worked right away!!! The skylight opened and closed - slowly but surely - and the hidden shade came down and went up - now we can release heat at the top of our home easily for the first time, and have shade on the sunniest of California days. I was truly desperate to replace the remote from my two Velux skylights in my cathedral ceilinged three-season-room that have been here since 2008 and still function perfectly except that the remote simply died. I needed a new remote to make them work. I ordered the one on this site that was supposed to work for my skylights — and it didn't. They sent me very detailed instructions but it still didn't work. A few weeks later I received an email saying they found AN ERROR ON THEIR END with the programming of that batch of remotes and were shipping me the correctly programmed version — and it works perfectly!!! I am so grateful for their courtesy and tireless effort to admit they had a problem and so solve the problem! It took a while but I am so very grateful!
It instantly worked. I didn't need to program it or anything. All I needed was some batteries. I think the seller should include a pair of battery's and increase the price slightly. But other than that it's 100% the original. Same look and feel. I don't feel like I have a cheap version of the remote or anything. Definitely buying again if needed.

Sadly evaporative air coolers are RF remotes (RADIO FREQUENCY) not INFRARED. so our substitute wont work

Sadly you need to get an electrician to repair it as there is no solutions on the market

I have an older Bonaire Durango swamp cooler model 5900E and it uses a model SPS6281205SP remote. The newer remotes, 2018 or newer won't work. Where can I find a remote that will work? I need one to change the fan speed and turn on the water pump. Also to turn the unit on and off.
Sadly we only have Air Conditioner Remotes and not for this type of device.

Hi guys I have a basic bonnaire evaporative cooler not sure of the model. About 20 years old. Is a light cream colour and has a little door you open with program and timer functions etc which I never use. Will this or any other remote you know of work. Thank you Daniel 0466 047 246
Please contact us through our contact form and be sure to send a photo of the old remote. However it does sound like your old remote is RF (RADIO FREQUENCY) so this remote wont work.
