I ordered a remote and it didn't work for my ac. I emailed these guys and they had me try different codes to get it to work. After a few unsuccessful tries they mailed me another remote. This one worked. I appreciate them helping me until we got it right, instead of writing me off after they got my money. If you need a replacement I would definitely try them out. If I need another remote in the future, this is the first place I'm going.
Works!! No installation step required!!! When I first saw this I thought - this can't possibly work- and I thought I would have to somehow reach some button on the skylight to connect the new remote- we have been unable to open our lovely Velux skylight since we moved to this house 1.5 years ago. It is an older model but doesn't leak- The original remote fell and broke and would not work even with new batteries. Felix didn't offer a replacement. I went back and viewed the instructional video today for this product and it worked right away!!! The skylight opened and closed - slowly but surely - and the hidden shade came down and went up - now we can release heat at the top of our home easily for the first time, and have shade on the sunniest of California days. I was truly desperate to replace the remote from my two Velux skylights in my cathedral ceilinged three-season-room that have been here since 2008 and still function perfectly except that the remote simply died. I needed a new remote to make them work. I ordered the one on this site that was supposed to work for my skylights — and it didn't. They sent me very detailed instructions but it still didn't work. A few weeks later I received an email saying they found AN ERROR ON THEIR END with the programming of that batch of remotes and were shipping me the correctly programmed version — and it works perfectly!!! I am so grateful for their courtesy and tireless effort to admit they had a problem and so solve the problem! It took a while but I am so very grateful!
It instantly worked. I didn't need to program it or anything. All I needed was some batteries. I think the seller should include a pair of battery's and increase the price slightly. But other than that it's 100% the original. Same look and feel. I don't feel like I have a cheap version of the remote or anything. Definitely buying again if needed.
